Situated in South Brisbane's cultural precinct, the State Library of Queensland promises to be a fantastic site in keeping with the cultural and educational goals of PSQ and SLQ.
PSQ is excited to partner with the State Library utilising their excellent facilities to deliver a high quality convention not to be missed.
The annual gala dinner is a must-attend event this year as we'll be savouring the exotic atmosphere and taste sensations of Ahmet’s Turkish Restaurant in Brisbane's Southbank. The Sultan's Feast will satisfy all with an array of aromatic dishes, accompanied by delicious drinks (wine, beer and basic spirits are included in the ticket price).
And don't forget to bring your camera and a fast lens to capture the mesmerising belly dancer as she winds her way through the tables later in the evening.
Amidst all the usual fun and socialising, we'll also be hosting the now-traditional PSQ Convention print auction. We have a fantastic selection of high-quality prints and books generously donated by our illustrious speakers noteable photographers.
Although bidding can be fierce, dinner attendees sometimes walk away with stunning art at a fraction of its market value. See the Auction Items for further details.
